Pimai Salt Co., Ltd. with the technical cooperation from BIOTEC spent 3 years (2003 ? 2005) to acquire the success on the rehabilitation of the salty soil area provided for the solar salt evaporation. The reduction of residual salinity of 4 % to 1 % left over in the soil can bring back its natural property that confirms the plant cultivation.
Pimai Salt Co.,Ltd and National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC) ,National Science and Technology Development Agency have jointly set up the rehabilitation and recondition project for the salty soil area.
